Christina Anderson
Hello. I’m Christina.
I work with First Responders and Healthcare workers to navigate, manage and resolve issues that arise in both your personal- and professional lives.
With experience in couples therapy (Emotionally Focused Therapy, EFT) I also have experience in supporting folks navigating traditional- and non-traditional relationship styles. So whether it’s the negative impact your career (e.g. shiftwork, trauma exposure) has had on your relationship or you’re exploring a non-traditional relationship structures, I am here to support you.
In addition to supporting your mental health, relationship concerns, and managing PTS-like symptoms/burnout/compassion fatigue as a result of your career, we can also discuss performance coaching & how to maximize your potential & thrive within your career.
I describe my style as feedback-oriented & ‘solution-focused’. You can expect direct and collaborative conversations during our work together.
At this time, my practice is primarily booking appointments for returning clients.
In limited circumstances, I may be able to accommodate new clients who are emergency- or Healthcare workers, current- or former members of the military or First Responders; including Police, Fire, and Paramedicine services. Please feel free to reach out to inquire about availability.

I incorporate a variety of counseling approaches in my practice including CBT, strength based, acceptance and commitment therapy as well as mindfulness and self-regulation techniques. I use a trauma informed approach to my practice to create a safe, authentic and comfortable space for individuals as they move through their own unique journey.
My private practice is focused on adults over the age of 50 as I believe that this age group is often overlooked when it comes to counseling support and services and yet it is a significant time in people’s lives where they experience many transitions, changes and personal growth.
I am excited to walk with you through a piece of your 50+ journey as you explore, rediscover or affirm your sense of self.

Whether you’re navigating anxiety, feeling stuck in patterns, overwhelmed by life’s demands, or simply trying to make sense of where you’re at, you don’t have to do it alone.
With a background in Behavioural Therapy and Psychology, and experience supporting individuals across a wide range of needs and life circumstances, I bring a grounded, thoughtful, and collaborative approach to therapy. I don’t believe therapy needs to be rigid or one-size-fits-all. Instead, I focus on meeting you where you’re at and working together in a way that feels realistic, supportive, and meaningful.
My work is shaped by a strengths-based, systems, and values-driven lens. Together, we can explore what matters most to you and take small, manageable steps toward living in alignment with those values, without the pressure of needing to have everything figured out.
Whether you’re navigating anxiety, feeling stuck in patterns, overwhelmed by life’s demands, or s... Read More
